Although all the color is off the trees, and people are sharpening their skis and snowboards for some excursions up to Summit County, I'm just finishing up edits on my final fall family photoshoot of the season. A client contacted me looking to capture Colorado's colors for her family portraits, and we did it just in the nick of time. These shots were taken two days before that first big snowfall that hit Denver - talk about cutting it close!
For this shoot I switched back and forth between my ultra-wide angle and 70-200mm tele-zoom lenses, and incorporated a couple of off-camera strobes to really balance out the light with the sun. I can't help but love how the sunlight really makes Colorado's fall colors shine!!
